The Harghita County Council is using the classY Edu digital education support system to help students prepare for the graduation exams, especially in Romanian language and literature. Applications are open from today (26 May), and the County Council will provide the first applicants with a free pass. This is conditional on the application of a class community with at least ten students participating in the programme.
Looking at the results of the last years’ school-leaving examinations, it can be stated that a large percentage of students in Harghita County do not reach the pass level, especially in Romanian language and literature. This contributes to a large extent to the low or unsuccessful performance of many students in our region.
With the emergence and spread of the coronavirus and the shift of education outside the classroom, online education has gained ground, the education system must continue to function in the emergency situation caused by the epidemic, students must be provided with learning opportunities, and schools and teachers must adapt to the unexpected situation.
In order to eliminate failed school-leaving exams, the Harghita County Council recommends school administrators and teachers to use the classY Edu digital learning support system. The digital tutoring system is easy to use for users, provides a personalised learning experience, an individual learning path for students, and solutions for teachers to create individual lesson plans, course plans, access to digital content in a unified framework.
„Our goal is to help teachers and students prepare for their exams, especially in Romanian language and literature, through the digital education support system, in order to improve the pass rate in the matriculation and the supplementary exams for students in Harghita County. 36 digital items in Romanian language and literature are available for students and teachers. Classes are invited to apply for the programme, on condition that at least ten students from each class participate. Take advantage of this opportunity!” – said Csaba Borboly.
