Utilization of an innovative chatbot technology in the STEM field within the context of a blended learning methodology, driven by a common vision
A peer-learning activity is a method where participants help and teach each other to learn. It is an interactive process that focuses on the mutual sharing of knowledge and experience between participants. In our case, PLA is understood in a broader sense, as the development of a specific topic, the sharing of experiences and knowledge between actors in the field of education.
Within the framework of the EDUBOT project, the first workshop of this kind took place on 21 April 2023 at the Orbán Balázs Secondary School in Odorheiu Secuiesc, organised by the Regionet Foundation.
Following a presentation of the project by the President of the Foundation, Levente Lukács Zoltán, the event also included a presentation of the methodology and the educational support system used, as well as the possibilities of joining the project.
The objective of the PLA workshop was to collect feedback from the educational community regarding the project’s development goals. During the interactive round table discussion, the 11 participating education professionals shared their views and experiences on the utilization of digital tools. Topics discussed included: good practices and challenges in blended learning; the applicability of artificial intelligence (AI) as a digital assistant; the implementation of AI within the EDUBOT project; supporting the inclusion of disadvantaged pupils through digital tools; and digital curriculum development opportunities in the project.
