On 27 October 2025, the kick-off meeting of the AI Empowered Educators project took place successfully, attended by representatives of Hungarian, Polish and Romanian partner organisations. At the meeting, the partners introduced themselves and set out the main directions, objectives and tasks ahead for their joint work.

The aim of the project is to equip teachers with AI-based methodological and learning tools, supporting them in understanding and applying the challenges of AI-based education. The partnership plans to develop training courses and digital platforms to help teachers explore the potential of AI in education and integrate it into their own teaching practice.

At the meeting, participants agreed to hold online meetings every two weeks and identified the first key milestone: the national Peer Learning Action (PLA) events, to be held in November–December 2025. This will be followed by the first international meeting and PLA in Budapest on 22–23 January 2026.

Cooperation and transparent communication were emphasised at the meeting. The partners are working together to introduce project management tools (e.g. Trello) to effectively track tasks and progress.

The AI Empowered Educators project is also establishing an international knowledge-sharing network that connects teachers, educational institutions and researchers with a view to developing educational applications of artificial intelligence. The participants are looking forward with confidence to the coming period, during which they will work together to create an AI-supported, future-oriented learning environment.
