The content structure of the AI Empowered Educators project’s online teacher training course has been finalised. The course covers the most important professional, methodological and ethical issues relating to the use of artificial intelligence in education across eight modules that build on one another.
The Erasmus+ ‘AI Empowered Educators’ project has reached an important milestone in the course development process: the outline of the first complete learning module has been finalised and is now publicly available as a preview.
Block 3.1 – ‘From Prompting to Agentic Solutions’ – is the opening learning unit of Module 3. The module is entitled: AI Tools and Prompt Design as a Pedagogical Practice. This is the first concrete, accessible part of the eight-module teacher training course currently under development.
The outline covers approximately 60 minutes of independent, asynchronous learning and consists of three structured activities:
- Activity 1 — Module summary and block introduction – 5 minutes
- Activity 2 — Structuring an effective prompt – 47 minutes
- Activity 3 — Creating your own prompt library – 17 minutes
This module guides teachers through a practical learning process: it explains what makes a prompt effective, how to structure and organise reusable prompts, and lays the foundations for understanding more advanced agent-based workflows later on. The approach is based on one of the project’s fundamental pedagogical principles: every activity must produce a tangible outcome that can be used in a classroom setting.
“This first block is not only a milestone in terms of content, but also proof that the overall course structure is a viable concept. It demonstrates how the four-step asynchronous learning model works in practice and sets the direction for the subsequent blocks and modules.” — AI Empower WP2 content development team
The course is being developed in collaboration with Hungarian, Romanian and Polish partners, and will subsequently be available on the EduBot platform. The platform enables the monitoring of participants’ progress, the management of registrations, and the issuing of certificates upon completion of the course. In addition, some of the content will remain publicly accessible so that prospective participants can gain an insight into the course before applying.

The full course is expected to be finalised and undergo pilot testing in the coming months. The training will consist of 8 modules, totalling 30 hours of teaching content, and will cover topics including AI literacy, ethics, differentiation, inclusive education, assessment and pedagogical integration.
